Overview
Although the process of immigration to the U.S. through the U.S. immigrant investor program may appear complex, the PIDC Regional Center is committed to seeing each immigrant investor through the complete immigration process from the initial application to receiving a permanent green card. Working with the investor and his or her immigration attorney, the PIDC Regional Center will help prepare all evidentiary documentation in support of the investor's immigration applications.
Our Investors
Our investors in our regional centers have come from many different countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America, Central America and the Pacific Islands, including: China, Korea, Taiwan, Russia, Great Britain, France, South Africa, India, Australia, and Canada, among others. Many of our investors have also been individuals in the U.S. on other temporary visas.
Immigration Procedures
There are three (3) primary stages for each applicant to the U.S. immigrant investor program.
- First, an investor must submit a Form I-526, Immigrant Petition by Alien Entrepreneur.
-
Second, once the investor's I-526 Petition is approved, he or she will be given a U.S. Consular Interview appointment for biographical and medical review, or if in the U.S., receives an adjustment of status.
-
Finally, two (2) years from the date that the investor is granted a conditional green card and enters the U.S., he or she must submit Form I-829, Petition by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions, to demonstrate that the investment has satisfied all the requirements of the U.S. immigrant investor program in order to receive his or her permanent green card.

The approximate length of time for an investor to pass the U.S. Consular Interview and receive his or her conditional green card, from the date that he or she submits the I-526 Petition, is approximately 8-12 months or less. Once an investor receives an I-829 approval, he or she will make an appointment with a local USCIS office to request their permanent green cards.

Testimonials From Our Investors
"I came to the US on a F-1 student visa and has been exploring through different investment projects for EB5 visa and green card application. I think working with CanAm Enterprises and investing through PIDC Regional Center is the smartest choice to make. We have been approved for the I-526 and the project has created more than enough jobs to fulfill the investment requirements during the first year. I would highly recommend CanAm to foreign nationals whose goal is the approval of their green card with peace of mind for the application process."
Investor from China
"I have been studying in the U.S. on F-1 visa for approximately 6 years, majoring in Business Administration and Finance, when I expressed to my parents my serious desire to obtain a job and try to establish a career in the U.S. My parents, who are both from business backgrounds, researched which Regional Center EB-5 would offer the best chance to obtain permanent green cards, as well as receiving back the principal investment sum, and they chose for me Philadelphia (PIDC) Regional Center Program; and I participated as an investor in PIDC Regional Center LP 3 project. I now have conditional green card and can pursue my career related to offering automobile related services. I will be applying for "permanent" green card within 7 months."
J.W. Lee, Seoul, Korea
"I looked into many possibilities before deciding to invest in a Regional Center I found the best choice to be the PIDC Regional Center, for their honesty with investors and their serious competency in their job. Indeed, PIDC is the economic development agency for the City of Philadelphia and has a 50-year track record and wouldn't be involved in a program that wasn't completely legal and legitimate. Also, PIDC's mission is job creation and this is the same goal as the EB-5 program as required by USCIS.
I am very happy to participate in the EB-5 program through the PIDC Regional Center, because I am sure that the goal of job creation will be reached, because PIDC is the most qualified organization to run this kind of program."
Enjoy with PIDC Regional Center!
Gislaine Lair from France
"We have had such a wonderful experience working with CanAm Enterprises and investing through the PIDC Regional Center as part of the EB-5 program. CanAm made the process of applying for the I-526 smooth and easy. Their team of professionals working in China is very knowledgeable about the EB-5 process and has many years of experience working with issues specific to investors coming from mainland China. We would highly recommend CanAm to other foreign nationals who want to immigrate to the U.S."
